Service update
Thank you for your continued patience and we are sorry for the continued disruption to the service.
Veolia continue to deploy extra staff on each recycling crew to help clear outstanding kerbside recycling rounds. They also continue to deploy support crews to deal with any missed bins, boxes and roads not collected. There will be an additional two collections to catch up the recycling rounds that were missed yesterday. The additional crew dedicated to green garden waste continues to operate.
To help get the service up and running as quickly as possible please only put your bins out on the day they are due. To check which bins are due use our online tool.
If your household has not received either a rubbish or recycling collection in the last two days report a missed collection here. If you need to report a missed collection that is more than two days overdue please use this Google form.
Flats and communal properties
If you live in a flat or communal property and you have not received your scheduled collection please fill in this form so Veolia can revisit as soon as possible.
Garden waste collections
If you subscribe to the garden waste collection service, please place your wheelie bin(s) out for collection on the same day as your brown wheelie bin. If your garden waste has not been collected please report it as a missed collection here.
If you have subscribed but are waiting on delivery of a garden waste wheelie bin, please bear with us. We will deliver one as soon as possible. Your service only starts on your first collection. If you are still waiting for your wheelie bin to arrive we apologise and confirm you will still receive a full 26 collections.
Bin deliveries and extra green recycling boxes
Most homes should now have all the bins, boxes and caddies they need to use the new service. If you haven’t received your new containers please use this form to let us know. If you need extra green recycling boxes you can request them here.
Anybody who already has two green wheelie bins can use one for paper and card and the other for cans, plastics, glass and cartons. If you wish to make use of this facility please make sure the two wheelie bins are labelled clearly.
